I certanily going to cut expedia loose. they do not know what going on we got booke in a hotel swarming with aunts, two hotels under construction ........that was on expedia.....expediambooked us a room in the Avery and the room was so small both of us could not be comfortable for two nights ....again on expedia...the hotel is vintage, is beautiful and has a geniune warmth to it with a taste of the past. The staff , without hesitation upgraded us to a beautiful room. This will be a place I will return to . The stAFF TOOK CARE OF ME, NOT EXPEDIA

Would be better if tents were more separated. Fix road.

Small rooms but quaint.

It could have been worse, but I can't recommend it to others. Communal bathrooms are fine, but there is only one bathroom building for the entire property, so it's a long walk. The water also didn't work in either the sinks or the showers (the toilets still worked, if you know what I mean). None of the roads are paved, so it's a long, muddy walk to and from the facilities. There is also no heat. That was fine for us because we had plenty of blankets, but I think it's something potential guests should know. The tents do have electricity, but because the property is off the grid, it's powered by batteries that didn't last through the night. Finally, our tent was okay, but it rained a lot while we were there, and the teepees leak—badly. I mean your beds get soaked. The family tent only had a few spots that dripped, but I was told that if you're staying in a teepee, there's nothing the staff can do about the leaks. I did get to see a moose there though and that was amazing!!
